Starting with the proceeds from a rummage sale in 1947, Maui Business & Professional Women have awarded over $100,000 in scholarships to Maui women and men. This program has continued through the years, supporting college-bound high school graduates and individuals returning to complete interrupted degree programs in fields from nursing and medical technology to business to construction management to ecommerce and graphic design. Today, the scholarship program is funded with an annual fashion show held in November. This year the program will be held in February 2008 |
